Bradley L. Allen, MD, PhD

During his fellowship training at University of Iowa Hospital, Dr. Allen had interest in endocarditis and endovascular infections. He brought these research interests along with a focus on the bacterial adherence factors associated with these infections with him when he joined the ID faculty at IUSM. While fulfilling his role as the Senior Associate Dean for Medical Student Education at IU, Dr. Allen focuses his infectious diseases interests on aggressive soft tissue bacterial infections and Clostridioides difficile colitis treatment options. He maintains involvement in some clinical trials addressing therapies for these clinical entities.
